Our Security Statement
The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) are leading a national effort to protect and secure our nation's transportation systems in light of our current situation overseas. The TSA oversees security for the highways, railroads, buses, mass transit systems, ports and over 450 airports in the U.S.

The U.S. Congress and the TSA use a multi-layered system with regard to air cargo security. Through the TSA's standard security programs, members of the air cargo industry must implement measures designed to protect the nation's transportation systems. Although some of the security measures required of the industry are readily visible to the public, most are considered "Sensitive Security Information."

Some of the new air cargo security requirements previously instated, as well as new changes impending later this year,

require shippers to provide specific information, including current and unexpired government-issued photo identification to their transportation service providers. Moreover, all cargo is subject to inspection. A shipper's refusal to provide this information and allow inspection are grounds for the transportation service provider to decline acceptance of the shipment and to report the shipper's refusal to the authorities. Without consent and direct adherence to such policies, neither we nor any other member of the air cargo industry may lawfully forward the shipment by air.

Although we cannot discuss or reveal all security measures, we remain committed to the safety and security of our customers and their freight, their employees and facilities, and the U.S. transportation system. Shippers and customers should contact the TSA directly for any specific definitions or clarifications of the security regulations.
